§ 16.08. Additional restrictions.

The city shall have the power through the council or other proper manner to impose other terms, conditions and restrictions in addition to those prescribed by this Charter upon the grant of any right, privilege or franchise, including suitable provisions that the whole or any part of the property used in the exercise or enjoyment of any right, privilege or franchise shall upon the expiration thereof become the property of the city upon payment of reasonable compensation therefor.
