§ 106. Term.

106.(a). The term of the franchise to be granted by the City pursuant to this ordinance shall be for a period of five (5) years. Six (6) months prior to the expiration of the initial five (5) year term, to the extent the City determines, in the City's sole discretion, that the Company has complied with the requirements of Section 108 of this franchise as well as all other provisions of this franchise and with applicable law, the City shall have the unilateral right to extend the franchise term for an additional five (5) years and notify Company in writing.

106.(b). References to "franchise term" in this franchise refer to the franchise term and any renewals or extensions thereof.
