§ 80.02. Prior agreements superseded.

  • At such time as an agreement is entered into between any such suburb and the City of Saint Paul, the provisions of this chapter and any such contract or agreement entered into pursuant hereto shall have the effect of superseding and cancelling any prior agreement between said city and such suburb heretofore entered into by virtue of the passage of concurring ordinances adopted by the City of Saint Paul and such suburb to the extent that such prior ordinances and agreements thereunder are in conflict with the provisions of this chapter and agreements entered into hereunder; and the appropriate city officers are hereby authorized and directed, after the execution of the contract between the City of Saint Paul and any such suburb, to introduce before the council an ordinance or ordinances providing for the repeal of the aforesaid previously adopted concurring ordinance or ordinances of the City of Saint Paul or conflicting portions thereof. Any such contract or agreement authorized by this chapter shall expressly recite that it is entered into pursuant to all of the terms, provisions and conditions of this chapter.
