§ 355.05. Prohibited acts.

  • (a)

    No person licensed hereunder shall keep his or her office or store open for the transaction of business on any day of the week before 7:00 a.m. or after 10:00 p.m., nor shall any person so licensed purchase or receive personal property of any nature from any minor.

    (b)

    No person licensed under this chapter shall accept any item of property that possesses an altered or obliterated unique identifier or any item of property that has had its unique identifier removed.

    (c)

    No person licensed hereunder shall receive any goods unless the seller presents valid photographic identification as set forth in § 355.04(a)(2).

    (d)

    No person may sell, trade or leave for consignment any article of property not their own.

    (e)

    No person seeking to sell, consign or trade any item with a dealer shall give a false or fictitious name, nor give a false date of birth, nor give a false or out-of-date residence or telephone number, nor give an altered or fictitious identification to the dealer.
