The City of Saint Paul pursuant to section 51.01(9) of the Saint Paul Administrative
Code may lease or cause the market to be sublet to an individual or individuals, group
or groups, organization or organizations, on such conditions as deemed appropriate
by the city; provided, however, that the market may not be used for anything other
than the purposes specifically provided in this chapter; and provided further, that
the lessee of the market shall be liable and responsible for the payment of any and
all taxes, special assessments or service charges of whatever nature accruing during
the term of the lease and which is imposed against the market.
