§ 11.20. Animals prohibited.

  • (a)

    It shall be unlawful for any person owning, keeping or being in control of a dog or other domesticated animal to permit the animal to be on the grounds of the city market.

    (b)

    Exceptions: Guard dogs or police K9 dogs on leash accompanying police officers and horses with the police horse patrol while in performance of their duty, and any properly identified service animal which aids persons who are totally or partially blind or deaf or have physical or sensory disabilities when such animals are properly harnessed or leashed so that the person aided by the service animal may maintain control of the animal, may be permitted on the market grounds.
