§ 57.10. Bill to be paid in thirty (30) days.

The bills in payment of any charges accruing under the contract shall be paid within thirty (30) days after receipt thereof, and in case of nonpayment within that time the city, through the fire chief, may upon written notice immediately terminate the contract. The applicant shall pay for the fire protection the sums specified in the schedule incorporated in this chapter, or in any amendment to said schedule which shall be duly adopted by the city council; provided, that no amended schedule shall go into effect until after thirty (30) days' written notice to the applicant.
