§ 43.01. Purpose.

Section 17.03 of the Saint Paul City Charter requires an oath to be taken by elected and appointed officials. Minnesota Statutes, Section 358.05 requires an oath of persons holding public office. The purpose of this chapter is to provide clarity and definition as to who must take an oath.
