§ 43.02. Officials or persons who must take an oath.

Pursuant to Section 12.03.2 of Saint Paul City Charter, the following positions, officials, persons and members are defined as being in the unclassified service and are subject to the requirements of this chapter:

(1)

Elected officials.

(2)

Heads of executive departments.

(3)

A secretary to the mayor.

(4)

The city attorney and deputy and assistant city attorneys.

(5)

The fire chief, the police chief and the director of the office of human resources.

(6)

The city clerk.

(7)

Members of boards and commissions.

(8)

Such additional positions as shall be assigned by ordinance to the unclassified service.
